I actually cant believe how much iv been lacking with my blog lately. Iv been really tired again lately, not much 'get up and go'. The sickness seems to have completely gone though luckily.The main 'symptoms' now are heartburn, and the newest one (not very pleasant at all) i keep randomly heaving. Every time i cough or sneeze, it sets me off, or sometimes its just totally random. It even happens in my sleep which is weird. I'm hoping this will pass soon too!
I cant believe I'm heading on for 16 weeks! Its absolutely flying by! I'm so excited about feeling Buttons first movements now. They are wriggling constantly now, but not quite enough for me to feel yet. That's something to look forward to over the next few weeks though!
I cant believe in 4 weeks time we'll be half way there! Iv now got 5 more weeks at work, then a whole week off! I cant wait. I'm definitely feeling ready for it. Adam isn't off, but I'm hoping I'll get lots done round the house. My sister will be around too, so i might see if she can come over and give me a hand with decorating or something. And I'm sure we'll manage to squeeze a couple of shopping trips in too! So that cant come quick enough! Last Thursday i went to my friend Katie's Baby shop in Shirebrook. Its amazing, she has some gorgeous stuff and she's sooo reasonable. I ended up spending £28 in total and i came away with:
* Two Mamas and Papas 'Millie and Boris' Cot Bumpers (Normally £50 each)
* The Millie and Boris cuddly toys (Normally £25 each)
* A teddy bear rug (Normally £20)
* A Mamas and Papas 'Once Upon A Time soft play mat (Normally £30)
* Two Millie and Boris canvas pictures (Normally £16 each)
*Two small Millie and Boris pictures (Normally £10 each)
* Three little white outfits
* A Millie and Boris Light shade (Normally £28)
* A Millie and Boris cot mobile (Normally £30)
* A Millie and Boris fleece blanket (Normally £30)
So Katie has done us a HUGE favour, and saved us rather a lot of money! Its all gorgeous stuff too. I cant wait to get the nursery carpeted and painted now so we can get it all in! Its definitely feeling rather real now, especially having all of that sitting in the lounge. Iv got a whole box of little clothes, hats and bibs now. I keep wanting to take them all out, fold them again and put them back in.
Every things so exciting. I'm still absolutely loving every second of pregnancy. I love having Button with me all the time, and knowing that he/she can actually hear us a bit now, and can suck their thumb! Its like a proper little person!
Drivings going really well, i Drove to Worksop and back last week, and did my first roundabout. So fingers crossed I'm progressing fast enough to get it all done in time!
Adams still really excited, i keep getting lovely texts from him saying 'Love you mummy and baby' etc. He's so sweet.
We're going to nip to McArthur Glen this afternoon, for pancakes and to look at our pram. We've had some lovely time together lately. Last Sunday we decided to just go for a drive and find somewhere random in the countryside to eat. So Adam just drove in any random direction, we ended up in a little country pub on the other side of Matlock, it was a beautiful sunny day, and it had a little terrace with outside seating. So we had a nice chat and a lovely Sunday dinner, and made plans for when Buttons here.
So, things are going pretty perfectly at the moment. Buttons getting bigger, and more clever by the day.
Love love love xxx
This Blog is going to follow me through every step of pregnancy, as something to look back on :)
